Ast(r)onishment is about the astonishment of seeing something as if for the first time. Made with Manuel Toledo and Alejandra Jorquera at the Ciudad Abierta of Ritoque, Chile, it reflects on the Earth floating in the universe and on our relation to it. A cubic structure tilted 32 degrees towards the south celestial pole holds a double-mirrored instrument that draws the motion of the Southern Cross through the night.
