Neur∞rb eulogizes the “mysterious consciousness”, this peculiar experience that our brain gives us; this unique, indescribable and obvious sensation of feeling alive.
Philosophers and scientists had been debating for decades on why and how consciousness occurs. Philosophers call the sensations of feelings “qualia”. We perceive them as unified properties of the outside world, but in fact they are products of our consciousness and it is not possible to describe them by physics, chemistry or biology.
But, this “colorful neuronal orbs” installation, rather than inviting us to question the consciousness; invites us to think about experiencing the sensation of feeling alive. Is this not what the universe is doing through us anyway? Experiencing itself through us?
